About Crystal

I am the social media manager for GlassBOX Television: parent to Bite TV and Aux TV. Working for two different channels warrants the ability to use a variety of social media skills to develop an interactive community. I work closely with our marketing team to orchestrate contests and giveaways, I manage over 10 (ten) Facebook Fan pages as well as 2 (two) Twitter feeds.

My ultimate goal is to find a position as an on-air personality; I currently host a segment everyday on Bite TV called ‘Facetime‘. I spend a minute encouraging our broadcast viewers to check out all of our awesome social media outlets. I also conduct interviews for both channels when possible. I have chatted with Alexisonfire, Moneen, Cabbie, Santino Marella, Melissa ‘O neil and LIGHTS.

I have a bachelor’s degree from Ryerson University and am a member of the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ).
